Tomoya is thirteen, and his dad comes home with a wife. Fine. Except the wife brings a daughter, and suddenly Tomoya has a big sister. Ichika is seventeen, and the way she looks at him is not exactly sisterly. She smothers him. She clings. She shows up everywhere he goes, and Tomoya cannot decide if he should run or just accept his fate. Then there is Ruri, Ichika's friend, who watches all of this with a smile that says she enjoys other people's pain way too much. And Marina, who is part Japanese and impossible to ignore. Between the three of them, Tomoya's quiet middle school life is gone. So how does a thirteen-year-old survive a sister who loves him too much, her sadistic friend, and a girl who turns every room into a mess?
