Nanbaka
Four men share cell 13 in Nanba, a prison built to hold the ones nobody else can keep. Juugo picks locks the way other people breathe. Uno reads a poker table like a book. Nico's body does weird things when drugs hit it, and Rock mostly wants lunch. Every other facility gave up on them. Nanba hasn't yet. Then the escapes keep failing, and the reason is Hajime, the guard stuck babysitting them. He wants to be feared. Instead he spends his shifts chasing these idiots down hallways. And here's the strange part: three meals a day, sports festivals, a roof over their heads. Freedom starts to look less appealing than it should. So the question is not whether they can get out. It's whether they still want to, and what they will do once that answer changes.
