Harley Quinn and the Joker tear through Gotham with bags of cash and sirens screaming behind them. He gets away. She doesn't. A woman with a katana drags her off into the night. Amanda Waller has already lost one squad through a portal to some other world, so she throws together a replacement: Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, King Shark, and Harley. Their helicopter goes down right in the middle of a battle between mounted soldiers and orcs. The A.R.G.U.S. agents riding along are dead on impact. The villains snap their shackles and wade into the orc horde, saving the human troops by pure accident, and get thrown in cells for it anyway. Now they wear magic-infused cuffs, and the bombs in their necks are ticking. To get home, they have to reach the portal before Waller's little implants go off. Can Harley really drag this crew of killers across a world that wants them dead, or does the woman with the katana know something about her that she doesn't?
