Moomin
Spring comes to Moomin Valley and everything wakes up at once. Snufkin walks back from his winter wandering, the hibernating neighbors crawl out of bed, and Moomintroll is ready for whatever the season throws at him. The valley has it all: lonely mountains, a sea dotted with lighthouses, a witch's forest thick enough to get lost in. Boredom here never lasts long. Then the Moomins find a hat. Tall, silk, too fine to toss in the trash, so they keep it and wait for someone to come claim it. Bad idea. During a game of hide and seek, Moomintroll ducks inside it, and when his friends pull him out, he is not himself anymore. Not even close. Some ugly, unrecognizable creature stares back from the mirror, and it is wearing his face. He shakes it off eventually, scares half the family in the process, and he and Snufkin carry the hat down to the river to get rid of it. They watch it float off around the bend. Fine. Done. Except now they can't stop thinking about whose hat it was, and whether whoever lost it is out there right now, looking for it. What happens when the owner comes knocking?
