Monster Eater
Rudd smells. That is the first thing anyone notices about the "Grubby Forager," and the reason no adventuring party will have him. His days are spent crawling through the Noxious Labyrinth for healing herbs, a job he only survives because his status immunity skill keeps the poison off him. Then a real team finally takes him on as a porter. For a moment it looks like things are changing. They are not. When a deadly monster bursts out of the dark, his new comrades shove him forward as bait and run. Rudd lives. Barely. Bleeding and broke, he does the one thing nobody is supposed to do: he eats the monster that almost killed him. And it makes him stronger. The more he swallows, the more power he gains. How long can a man keep eating the things that hunt everyone else before the labyrinth starts eating him back?
