Three years after Char's rebellion fizzled out, the colonies keep spinning and nobody talks about the war much anymore. Banagher Links is sixteen, a student at Anaheim Academy on Side 4, and his biggest problem is what to do after class. Then a girl literally drops into his life. She calls herself Audrey Burne and she is hunting something called Laplace's Box, a thing that supposedly can decide what happens to every human in space. She also has zero intention of letting the Sleeves, the leftovers of Char's army, get their hands on it first. That quiet colony day gets loud fast. Mobile suits tear through Side 4, and the Sleeves send their best: Marida Cruz and the masked Full Frontal. Banagher ends up in the cockpit of a brand new Gundam, the Unicorn, with no training and no plan, just friends behind him who need him to not die. Now he is the one holding the key everyone is willing to kill for. The Federation wants it, the Sleeves want it, and Audrey knows more than she says. What exactly is inside Laplace's Box, and why does a sixteen year old have to be the one standing between it and the entire Earth Sphere?
