Two guys meet by chance in a Middle Eastern desert. One is Kubota, shy and green with women. The other is Hachisuka, good looking and smooth enough to talk his way out of anything. Neither has a plan, so they fly back to Japan together and start clawing for a piece of something better. Then poverty does the talking. Broke and stuck, they jump at an offer that sounds too easy: a fat stack of cash for a single day of work. They say yes before anyone explains what the job actually is. Next thing they know, they are deep in the grimy side of television, cranking out fake documentaries for people who never planned to tell the truth on camera. The money is real. So is the trouble that comes with it, and these two are in way over their heads. Can a couple of amateurs fake their way through an industry built on lies without getting burned?
