Things have calmed down in Shin Makoku, so Yuuri Shibuya finally gets to do the boring king stuff: riding out to check on repairs, visiting Covarion, and then dragging his usual pack of bodyguards to a hot spring for a soak. That is where Sararegi, the king of Small Shimeron, sidles up with a smile and an invitation. Come visit. Just a friendly trip. Nothing strange about it. Except the friendly king may be playing a deeper game. Yuuri agrees to tag along to Shimaron anyway, mostly to see friends, and that is when the invitation turns weird. The so-called king of Little Shimeron suddenly appears in their group and starts pushing hard for the Maou to come to his country. No polite hints. Just: you need to come with us. Back home, the Original King has seen enough and sends word to Yuuri's brother and his friend that Yuuri is in trouble. Now two people from Earth, who have no business in any of this, are the ones being asked to help. What exactly has Yuuri walked into, and will anyone reach him before the smile across the table stops being friendly?
