Twenty five years after Éclair and Lumière pulled the galaxy back from the brink, the old GOTT is gone. In its place stands the GTO, a trade body that polices crime across the universe. Its ES unit looks a lot like the one that came before, except now the recruits are official, known to the public, and still in training. That is where Ascoeur and Q-feuille come in. Two rookies chasing full agent status. Easy enough on paper. Then the job stops being training. The pair gets thrown into real cases with real criminals and powers that do not care how green they are. Between the bickering, the missions and the pressure to prove they belong, the question is no longer whether they can pass the exam. It is whether they will survive long enough to take it. What happens when the newest agents in the galaxy find out exactly what the ES badge really costs?
