Kotetsu is back in the First League, and HeroTV has turned his old partnership with Barnaby into an official product. Pair up every hero, two by two, and let the cameras roll. New faces join the roster in Sternbild City, rookies with something to prove and veterans who have been doing this longer than they would like to admit. The buddy system sounds clean on paper. It never is. Then the job stops being about ratings. When the chips are down and the wrong call could cost lives, these heroes have to figure out what it actually means to trust the person standing at their back. Some of them are great at posing for posters and terrible at letting anyone else take the lead. Old habits, old grudges, and a city that needs protecting whether or not the cameras are watching. Can two heroes who barely tolerate each other really save anyone, or does the whole experiment fall apart the moment things get real?
