Episode 23 · Karin

Karin

Karin Maaka comes from a family of vampires, but her body never got the memo. Instead of craving blood, she produces way too much of it. Once a month or so the pressure builds until she gets dizzy, pale and gets a nosebleed, and the only fix is to dump the extra blood on some random stranger. Weird part? Those people walk away happier and livelier than before. Her little sister Anju and her brother Ren, who hits on anything that moves, cover her tracks by wiping memories, so nobody ever suspects a thing. Then Kenta Usui transfers into her class. He notices the strange behavior, the sudden exits, the nosebleeds she tries to hide. And something in Karin goes haywire around him, her blood reacting in a way it never has before. Now she has to keep her secret from the one person who is already paying attention, while her own body keeps betraying her. Is Kenta just a nosy classmate, or is he about to blow her whole family's quiet life wide open?
