Kouhei Morioka just wants a clean shot. Instead every photo he takes comes back haunted, which is a problem when you shoot ghosts for a living. So he heads to a castle in Germany for his editor friend, camera bag over one shoulder, expecting cobwebs and cold spots. What he gets is a girl in a white dress and cat ears, standing there like she owns the place. Her name is Hazuki. She leans in for a kiss, then goes for his neck instead and bites down, expecting a brand new slave. It doesn't take. Her bite does nothing to him. Now she's stuck with a guy who won't obey, a butler named Vigo who refuses to let her leave, and a cousin named Seiji who happens to be a powerful exorcist and a very handy exit strategy. They get out. Hazuki bolts for Japan to find her mother, and Kouhei figures that's the last he'll see of her. Then he comes home and finds her living in his house, curled up like she pays rent. His grandfather doesn't even mind. Other vampires are already on her trail, and they want her back. Badly enough to tear through anyone standing in the way. So what exactly is a freelance photographer supposed to do when the whole immortal world comes knocking at his door?
