For ages the magic world and ours sat on opposite sides of a gate, never mingling. Then the spheres got stolen. Powerful ones. They tumbled down to Earth, and the king of magic had no choice but to send three of his own after them: Boss, who fights; Lime, who can transform into just about anything; and Poogie, who morphs. The clock is ticking. Here is the nasty part. Down here, a sphere doesn't just sit there. It soaks up whatever bad mood is festering in some ordinary household object, and then that object gets up. It grows eyes. It becomes a BEM, a bug eyed monster, and it is not happy. So three strangers from a world of spells are stuck in ours, hunting monsters that used to be teapots and lamps and who knows what else, with no time to spare. Can they round up every last sphere before the ordinary stuff around us finishes turning into things with teeth?
