One ordinary morning, Taichi and Rin are walking to school like any other day. Then a bright beam of light swallows them whole and drops them into a world of swords and magic. No warning. No way back. The place greets them with monsters, and the two barely make it out alive. A band of adventurers pulls them from the mess and points them toward the guild, where newcomers get their magic measured and sign up. Fine. Except the test comes back with numbers nobody has ever seen. These two are not ordinary mages. They are something else entirely, and just like that, a couple of high school kids become the strongest magic users around. Now they have to figure out what they can actually do, stay alive while doing it, and hunt for the reason they were pulled here in the first place. Someone out there knows more than they are saying, and trouble is already moving in the shadows. Will Taichi and Rin ever find the door home, or is this world done letting them go?
