Episode 4 · IDOLiSH7

IDOLiSH7

Tsumugi Takanashi walks into her father's tiny talent agency on day one, ready for coffee runs and paperwork. Instead he drops a bomb: she's managing seven boys who are about to debut as a male idol group. Before she can process it, there's a second bomb. Her father wants her to cut four of them. Seven is too many, he says. The top group right now, TRIGGER, has three. So she sits the boys down for an audition. Watches them sing. Watches them mess up. Watches them pick each other up. Then she goes back to her father and flat out refuses. Every one of them stays. They're different, sure, but that's the point. Together they become IDOLiSH7, and now they're stepping into a business that's all shiny lights and sold out arenas, until it isn't. One bad single, one scandal, one slip and you're done. Can seven kids who barely know each other survive a world that eats its own?
