Episode 4 · Housing Complex C

Housing Complex C

Kimi lives in a cheap apartment block in the seaside town of Kurosaki, and bad luck sticks to her like sand. A dropped plate here, a broken railing there. Whatever goes wrong, somehow her name ends up in it. Then the neighbors start dying. Not accidents anymore. Blood in the stairwell, doors that won't stay shut, screams in the night. The other residents whisper that Kimi brings it with her, that the girl is the curse. She says she isn't. Nobody believes her. What none of them want to say out loud is that the building sits on something old, and it has been waiting a long time for a house full of people. So is this just a run of terrible luck that has to end eventually, the way a bad streak always does? Or has something ancient been feeding on Housing Complex C all along, and Kimi is only the first to notice?
