Hiwou War Chronicles

Karakuri Kiden: Hiwou Senki · 機巧奇傳　ヒヲウ戦記
Adventure2000BonesRating 6,813+HD

Eight years ago, ships from the West arrived in Japan, and with them came clockwork dolls and machines that breathed steam. Hiwou grew up in a quiet village where people built these dolls and lived alongside them. Then one day the Wind Gang came. They are doll users too, but they want a new industrial age no matter who gets crushed under it, and they burned Hiwou's home to the ground. Hiwou and his friends fled with a single giant doll called Homura, and now they are the ones keeping it running while soldiers hunt them across the countryside. Hiwou has one plan: find his father, the only person he trusts to stand against the Wind Gang and stop the fighting from swallowing the whole country. But a boy and a handful of friends against an army of machines? They are outnumbered, outgunned, and running out of places to hide. What happens when the giant doll that saved them turns out to be the very thing the Wind Gang is chasing?
