A bus full of people goes off the road. Wreckage, sirens, the usual. Except one passenger walks away without a scratch. A girl, calm, untouched, like the crash never happened to her. Connor is still out there somewhere, and the mask case never really closed, so of course everyone wants to know who she is and why the accident bent around her. Then the ground shifts under the team. Steven is dead, Richard hands in his resignation, and the new police director doesn't trust the SSC one bit. So he does the obvious thing: he plants his own agent inside the unit. Now they are chasing a fugitive and new leads while someone on the inside is watching every move they make. The girl's secret is somewhere in all this, and the clock is ticking. Can the SSC crack the case before the man they answer to decides they are the problem?
