A regular guy named Saitou fixes leaky faucets and squeaky doors for a living. His boss calls him replaceable and kicks him to the curb. Then a truck comes barreling at him on the way home. He wakes up somewhere else entirely, and here is the kicker: no magic, no legendary sword, no secret power from the trip over. Just a toolbox and the same two hands he always had. A female knight named Raelza, a moonlight fairy called Lafanpan, and an old mage named Morlock happen to be short one member, and a guy who can pick locks and patch armor fits the bill. Nobody crowns him a chosen hero or sends him off to fight a demon king. He tightens bolts, untangles traps, and quietly becomes the reason the party keeps coming home alive. But Saitou's knack for showing up in the right place at the right time starts pulling strangers together, people from all corners who would never have crossed paths otherwise. Something bigger is shifting under all these small repairs. What exactly is he about to fix without even realizing it?
