Every nightmare he walks into belongs to someone, and each one has a shell around it, the kind of shell people build out of the thing they cannot let go of. He peels them open, one layer at a time, and somewhere underneath all that mess he keeps catching a glimpse of a faint "us" nobody else can see. The tavern has no closing time, the guests keep coming, and the nightmares keep piling up. So what exactly is Xiao Mo digging toward, and who is the us he is looking for?
