Two years after the EL-Divers mess, Gunpla Battle Nexus Online is bigger than ever. Missions, story events, the whole thing feels less like a game and more like somewhere you could live. That's where Hiroto Kuga comes in. Nobody knows much about him, just that his skills are ridiculous, the kind that make other players stop and stare. Then a run of dumb luck shoves him together with three strangers: Kazami, who never stops bragging, May, who says almost nothing about herself, and Parviz, who flinches at his own shadow. They call themselves BUILD DiVERS. With a squad like that, what could go wrong? They sign up for a story mission everyone says pays out big. Easy money, right? Except the mission doesn't play by the rules they know, and the four of them are about to find out that their real opponents are closer than they think: their own fears, their own pride, their own secrets. Hiroto especially. He came to GBN for a reason, and it isn't loot. So what exactly is waiting for them at the end of this mission, and why does it feel like the game itself is watching them back?
