Gasaraki
Japan's economy is crumbling, and the military needs a miracle. What they get is the Tactical Armor: towering suits that move like nothing else on the battlefield, except most pilots can barely survive the strain. Yuushirou Gouwa can. He is the fourth son of the powerful Gouwa family, and he wears one of these machines like a second skin. Handy talent to have when the world is busy building its own. Then his family asks him to dance. A ritual, old and strange, meant to call back something they call Gasaraki. Mid-step, Yuushirou sees a girl in his head. She begs him to stop, not to wake that horror again. He freezes. Across the planet, in the same heartbeat, another ritual begins, and another girl named Miharu stands at its center. What are the odds. Now the Middle East is burning, two secret organizations are pointing weapons at each other, and the Gouwa family knows far more about all of it than they are saying. Yuushirou has to find Miharu, dig through his own bloodline, and figure out what the cult really wants. But if the suit, the dance, and the visions are all pieces of the same machine, then who exactly is piloting whom?
