Freedom

In 2041, a space station falls out of orbit and tears Earth apart. The planet turns into a poisoned wasteland, and the survivors finish the job themselves, fighting over scraps until nothing human is left down there. Up on the moon, though, life goes on. What started as a small outpost for the Mars mission grows into a domed city called Eden, and its people believe they are the last hope of the species. Takeru doesn't care much about any of that. He's too busy racing hovercraft through the tunnels of Eden, going up against rival gangs. Then one crash, one stupid accident, and he's handed a punishment: community service out beyond the city limits. Digging around in the dirt, he finds something he was never meant to see. Ruins. Old ones. The kind that shouldn't exist. Now the story of how Eden began, and what really happened to Earth, is sitting right in front of him. Someone would rather it stayed buried. So what exactly is Eden built on top of?
