Flame of Recca

Rekka no Honoo · 烈火の炎
ActionAdventure1997Studio PierrotRating 7,413+HD

Rekka Hanabishi talks like a ninja, walks like a ninja, and has zero patience for anyone who says ninjas died out centuries ago. His family runs a fireworks shop, which is close enough to smoke and sparks for him. Then he goes and announces to the whole school that whoever beats him gets to call him their servant. Bright move. Now he spends half his life dodging punches from guys who want a personal errand boy. One bad accident nearly ends him. A quiet girl named Yanagi Sakoshita pulls him back, and her hands can close any wound. Rekka owes her now, and he says so out loud: from here on, he fights for her. That promise is barely out of his mouth when his own hands start throwing fire. Turns out he is not some kid playing ninja. He is the last son of a clan that got erased long ago, and its enemies have been waiting. His half brother Kurei wants Yanagi, and Kurei is not asking politely. Rekka has to gather a clan of his own, learn what his flames can actually do, and keep her out of that man's reach. So who exactly is Kurei planning to burn through to get her first?
