Sakura Sakurakouji rides the bus home and sees people burning alive in blue flames through the window. A boy her age stands in the middle of it, untouched. She calls the police. By morning there is no evidence left, not a body, not a scorch mark. Then the boy walks into her classroom as the new transfer student. Sakura, who can fight better than anyone in that school, decides the only way to stop him is to stay close, to chip away at whatever is frozen inside him before he kills again. Can she really save a boy who doesn't think he needs saving?
