Kyuu is just a regular kid who happens to be very good at logic. He wants to be a detective, so when he hears about a famous detective school where students are even allowed to carry guns, he signs up. On his first day he meets Megu, who never forgets a face or a page, Kinta, who can throw a punch before you finish your sentence, Kazuma, who lives in front of a keyboard, and Ryuu, who barely says a word and somehow knows too much. Then the school stops feeling like a school. The cases they get are real, and the criminals behind them planned everything down to the last detail. A locked room, a witness who swears they saw nothing, a clue that points the wrong way on purpose. Kyuu and his friends keep pulling at the threads until the lie falls apart, but each answer just leads them somewhere darker. Who is really sending them these cases, and why does Ryuu look at every crime scene like he has seen it before?
