Momo just got dumped, and when she spots a quiet kid from her class getting pushed around, she steps in. Ken Takakura takes her kindness the wrong way and decides she is now his friend. There is just one problem: he is obsessed with UFOs, and she is the granddaughter of a spirit medium who thinks aliens are total nonsense. So they make a bet. Each one wants to prove the other is wrong. But when actual ghosts and actual aliens start showing up and going straight for them, the argument stops being funny. Momo and Ken have to fight, and they have to do it together, because neither of them can handle this alone. Somehow a believer and a skeptic turn into a team. They cover for each other, they get stronger, and they keep asking themselves what this really is. Just survival, or something more?
