Koyuki has no one to bring to graduation. Her brother is gone, buried years ago, and her visit to his grave gets interrupted by two brothers chasing something that should not exist. Kiri and Victor claim they are filming a movie. Then Victor starts talking about the old clock tower legend, and the girl's face changes. That legend is bait. Wish under the tower at midnight and demons called Horologues come crawling out of the dark to eat your time, drawn by regret like moths to a flame. Victor knows this better than anyone. He lost his wife, went half mad with grief, and handed over every last second of his own life trying to undo it. Now he gets younger by the day. His memories go with it. He keeps a diary just to remember his own son. So he fights. Him and Kiri hunt Horologues as Chronos Rulers, armed with an Oath of Time that speeds up or freezes the world around them. Koyuki walked away from that cemetery free of regrets. But how many people out there are still making wishes at midnight?
