Blue Gender: The Warrior

AdventureDramaHorror2002AICRating 6,217+HD

A mysterious illness was killing Yuji Kaido. So they froze him. Deep sleep, no heartbeat, just a promise that someone would wake him when a cure existed. He opens his eyes to a nightmare. Over twenty years have passed. The cure never came, and Earth belongs to the Blue now, swarming bug creatures that took every city, every road, everything he once knew. Soldiers pull him out of the pod and hand him a weapon because there is no way back to the old world. Yuji joins their fight, more out of having nowhere else to go than out of courage. The Blue are everywhere, in the ruins, in the dark, in numbers no one can count. What is left of humanity is losing, and the question is not whether Yuji can survive out there. It is whether anyone is still alive to save.
