Rotting flesh twitches, then rises. These things, the Amalgams, don't think. They just wreck. And when one of them grabs a car or a bike, it doesn't only control the machine: it makes it faster. Germany is bleeding, so the Xenogenesis Assault Team steps in to put the outbreak down. Here's the snag. A few of the infected stay human upstairs. They think, they plan, they're much worse. Joseph Jobson is one of them, and he keeps his powers on a leash. Then a run in with Gerd Frentzen, freshly turned, paints a target on his back, and XAT wants him bad. No allies, nowhere to hide. Something inside him changes, and the strongest Amalgam alive is born. Now Joseph fights with what he has become, chasing what the Amalgams really are and what he used to be. Some of the demonized pick good, some pick bad, and whoever climbs above the rest earns a single name. So who decides which side a monster lands on?
