Kelvin wakes up somewhere strange with no idea how he got there, and the trade he made is already done. He handed over chunks of his old life, memories he will never get back, and in return he walks away with serious power, extra skill points, and a summoner title most people only dream about. Standing in front of him is Melfina, the goddess who handled the whole rebirth. One look at her and he is gone. Completely smitten. So when she asks what companion he wants to start this new life with, he picks her. There is a catch, because of course there is. Melfina cannot just stroll beside him. To pull her physical body into the world he has to pile up an enormous amount of mana, and the only way to get it is by fighting strong enemies and binding even stronger ones to him as allies. So off he goes with a blonde girl named Efil at his side, chasing contracts and battles that might, eventually, bring his goddess down to earth. Friends show up along the way. So do people who want him dead. And somewhere in all of it, Kelvin is still trying to find a road back to who he used to be. Can the bonds he forges out here really get his memories back?
