Ten years ago a fairy named Daisy asked a kid named Eiji what he wanted more than anything. He made a wish. Japan came apart. Whole cities folded, countless people died, and nobody ever found out what he asked for, including Eiji himself. Now he's just a high schooler who wants to be left alone with his sick sister. Except thousands of other people got wishes too. They're called Orders, and the public hates them, hunts them, blames them for everything. Some of those Orders want Eiji dead for what he did. They show up at his school. At his home. Everywhere. And Eiji doesn't even have the luxury of playing innocent, because whatever he wished for is still buried in his head, and his power is bigger than anyone else's: he can take over the world and turn people into puppets if he wants to. He doesn't want to. He wants to fix what he broke and keep his sister safe. But his enemies keep coming, and the question is not whether he can survive them. The question is what kind of person makes a wish like that in the first place.
