Suzu hasn't sung since her mother died. Not a note. Every time she tries, her throat closes up and she's sick for days. She's a high schooler in some quiet town, and she's basically invisible. Then a friend drops an invite link into her lap, and Suzu logs into U, a virtual world with five billion users. There she becomes Belle. Stunning, confident, and when she opens her mouth, the whole platform stops and listens. That's when the dragon shows up. A monster crashes her concert, and everyone in U has heard the rumors about him: violent, dangerous, out of control. Except Suzu sees something else in him, something familiar. Now she's got a viral career, a mob that loves her one day and tears her apart the next, and this creature she can't stop thinking about. Who is he really, and what happens when the girl behind Belle finally has to stop hiding?
