Ayumu Aizawa didn't want to go back to Tana. A small town, his father, no friends waiting. He agreed only because a new mountain bike was on the table. Years ago he lived there as a kid, and whatever happened back then sits in his memory like fog on a window. He can't see through it. He's not sure he wants to. Then there's Kisa Tanigawa, a girl who can't seem to fit anywhere, not even in her own skin. Both of them feel like their lives took a wrong turn somewhere and nobody handed them a map. What they get instead: UFO shapes reflected in the eyes of cats and dogs. A mysterious forest. A boy called Wakkun. And a TV announcer with a nose you don't forget. Nobody explains any of it. The phenomena just show up, quiet and wrong, and they seem drawn to people who are at war with themselves. Life in Tana stays calm on the surface. Underneath, the secrets stay secrets. So what exactly did Ayumu see as a child, and why is the town acting like it never happened?
