Kakeru Niimi is just helping his town look good at a local anime convention when the ground splits open. During the chaos he ducks into a shrine and watches an old relic crack apart. The next morning Miyako, his classmate, is still in her cosplay and convinced the quake left her cursed. He laughs it off. Big mistake. Then a killer starts using those same powers, and the town stops feeling quiet at all. Four people against whatever is stalking these streets. They have to stop the next victim before it happens, but the relic is still out there somewhere, and the people closest to them keep hiding things.
