You think you know animals. You grew up hearing that raccoons wash their food and that dolphins sleep soundly in the sea. Cute stories, right? Then this show sits you down and flips the whole thing over. Raccoons aren't washing anything. Dolphins who fall fully asleep would sink and drown, so half their brain stays awake forever just to keep them breathing. That's the joke and also the lesson. Every episode takes a fact you've accepted your whole life and shows you the strange truth underneath it, and it does this without ever getting mean about it. The creatures come off as absurd, the humans who believed the old stories come off as worse, and nobody is spared. So who exactly made up the version you've believed since childhood, and what else did they get wrong?
