Tapio is a calico with way too much energy for one cat. Kuehiko is a Russian Blue who would rather nap than deal with any of it. They are classmates, and they keep taking on part time jobs together, which means every shift turns into something. Convenience store shelves, delivery routes, whatever gig they can find. Tapio dives in headfirst. Kuehiko drags his feet the whole way, then somehow ends up doing the work anyway. Here is the weird part. At the end of every episode, some mysterious figure called the Yellow Someone shows up out of nowhere and drops a bit of philosophy on them. Nobody knows who this guy is or why he keeps appearing. So the two cats keep clocking in, learning how tough and how strangely fun work can be, while this yellow stranger watches from the sidelines. But who is he really, and why does he always have something to say right when the shift ends?
