Inside sits a wet animal that looks like a dog. She hesitates. The creature answers by handing her an umbrella, and just like that it moves into her apartment. That should be the strange part, and it isn't. The animal starts writing to her. Actual words, on paper. A dog that scribbles notes changes everything about mornings at Fuji's place, and it turns out this roommate has opinions, habits and a sense of humor she never signed up for. Her family and friends get pulled into it too, and somehow the quiet writer's life is now full of small chaos. A pet that talks back in handwriting, a woman who chose solitude on purpose. Who exactly took whom home that rainy evening?
