Haruka grew up sickly in the countryside with her grandmother, who taught her piano and gave her a love of music. Her dream is simple and stubborn: write a song for Hayato, the idol she adores. So she applies to Saotome Academy, a performing arts school where one year of training can end in a contract with a big agency. Only after she arrives does she find out who she is up against. Every teacher there is a star. Her homeroom teacher still rules the screen, and the headmaster is a singer whose single once sold more than twenty million copies. Around her, future idols and rival composers claw for the same few spots, and the final audition decides everything. Then one night, out in the moonlight, she runs into a man who seems oddly familiar. She has to survive the year, outwrite everyone in her class, and figure out why that stranger's face won't leave her alone. Which singing prince will end up standing beside her?
