A murder case pulls them together, and the boy cracks it in seconds, pointing at the real killer like it was nothing. Fukuzawa sees something in him, and that odd partnership plants the seed of what will become the Armed Detective Agency. Years later, Ranpo is the one in trouble. Now the law is calling them terrorists, and Kunikida is sitting behind bars. To clear his name and save what is left of the Agency, the survivors may have to shake hands with the very enemies they once swore to take down. How far will they go before the people they ask for help become the ones holding the knife?
