Thunder 3
A bootleg DVD promises a door to another world, and three schoolboys can't resist testing it. They get it open. Then they look away for one second. Pyontarou's little sister Futaba wanders through the gap, and the aliens on the other side take her. Here's the strange part. That parallel Earth is all hard edges and grim realism, and the boys don't fit it at all. Their flat, goofy cartoon bodies turn them into something close to supermen there. Punch through walls. Shrug off hits that should kill them. So now three kids who were nobody at home are hunting an alien army across a world that looks nothing like them, and every fight buys them ground toward Futaba. Except the clock is running, and they still don't know what the aliens actually want with her. Can they reach her before this place figures out how to hurt them too?
