Pei Qian works job after job and still can't make rent. Overtime goes unpaid, the boss yells, the conditions are miserable. Then he downloads a strange app on his phone. It throws him back to his college years and makes him an offer he can't refuse: build a business with its money. Take the profit and you get a tiny cut, one yuan for every hundred. But if the whole thing collapses, you keep every cent you sank into it, one to one. So why bother building anything at all? Just set the money on fire and walk away richer. He picks the game industry, the most expensive way to fail. He makes games that break every rule of the market, weird stuff nobody should want. The catch: the app keeps paying off. Every disaster becomes a hit, every wrong move turns a profit, and the pile of winnings keeps growing. Now everyone calls him a business genius, the bosses praise him, crowds cheer his name. Only Pei Qian knows the awful truth, that he has been trying to lose this entire time. So what does a man do when the universe refuses to let him fail?
