Technoroid: Overmind
The water came up, the humans thinned out, and androids got stuck with the chores. Now they pour coffee, haul cargo, and sing for their supper inside Babel, a tower where you climb by winning over a crowd. Higher floor, bigger payout. Simple enough. Cobalt, Chrom, Neon, and Kei are four androids with a problem that has nothing to do with art: the power company is about to shut them off. So they sign up to climb. Their first sets go badly. Then Cobalt watches STAND-ALONE, the unit sitting at the very top, and something clicks. Not long after, the group runs into a choreographer who offers them his routine for free. Free is suspicious. They take it anyway, rope in Esora Shibaura, the human who sticks with them, and become KNoCC. Now they have to climb past audiences that cheer for androids and vote against them in the same breath, and past whatever the choreographer was really after. Can four broke androids with borrowed moves outdance a tower built to keep them in their place?
