Tactical Roar
A permanent typhoon now owns the western Pacific. The Grand Roar never lets up, it swallowed whole coastlines, and what used to be countries are mostly water. Shipping became the only thing that mattered. Then pirates showed up, and cargo companies started hiring escort cruisers to keep their freight in one piece. So far, so grim. Then you meet the Pascal Magi, where the entire crew is women and the captain is Misaki Nanaha. A system engineer named Hyousuke Nagimiya gets sent aboard to upgrade their ship, which makes him the only man on a vessel everyone else has already written off. Rival crews have a nickname for them: the Alice Brand. Cute, right? The women on that bridge would very much like a word with whoever started it. Between dodging pirate attacks and proving they are not a joke, they have their hands full. Except the pirates are not really the problem. Somewhere above all of this, people with real power are quietly arranging things to suit themselves, and a war zone is a convenient place to do it. How long can one cruiser and its stubborn captain keep sailing straight when the whole board is rigged?
