A book lands on a keyboard. That's it, that's the whole accident, and suddenly the monitor in Sho's house turns into a window into the past. Anyone sitting at that desk can watch history scroll by like a TV channel. Then Chris' dog Ruffles bolts straight through the screen and vanishes somewhere in time. Zenmaijikake and Sho's cousin Hisashi go in after her. Back in the present, Sho and Azusa stay glued to the computer, running the controls while the boys stumble through centuries they were never supposed to touch. Dinner is on the table, mom and dad are downstairs, and the two of them have to act like nothing is happening while two kids and a lost dog are stuck in who knows when. The real problem is keeping all of it quiet. Every trip back means another excuse, another close call at the kitchen table, another adult almost walking in at the wrong second. Can they pull the dog out of the past before someone in the house finally asks why the computer keeps glowing?
