Slayers Try
A magical wall kept the whole world penned in for close to a thousand years, and now it is just gone. Kingdoms that spent centuries staring at the same horizon start sending delegations into lands nobody has ever mapped. That is the moment a letter finds Lina Inverse, and the woman who sent it, Filia, has a job offer. But first she wants to see what Lina and her crew can actually do. So she drops a dragon on them. Right in the middle of town. They pass the test, obviously, and head off into the unknown. That is when the prophecy shows up. Something from another dimension, a dark lord called Dark Star Dugradigdo, is supposedly going to break into this world and tear it apart. Lina came out here for a paycheck and some new spells. Now she is supposed to stop that?
