Saki has one plan for her last year of high school: keep quiet, graduate, and get far away from the mess in her chest. The mess has a name. Kaname, her older sister Noriko's boyfriend, and Saki has spent months not saying a word about how she feels. Then she finds out Noriko and Kaname already split up. Nobody told her. So the secret she has been guarding so carefully is a secret about nothing. College was supposed to be the clean escape. Instead Kaname turns up on the same campus, and at orientation he pulls her into his video club. Now he wants to put her on camera. So does Daichi, another first year, who has his own reasons for keeping her in frame and cannot say them out loud. Saki stands between two boys with cameras and no idea what either one really wants from her. Kaname is still the person she cannot stop thinking about. Daichi is right there, watching her watch someone else. College was meant to be a fresh start, and it is turning into the same closed loop with more people in it. How long can she keep smiling for the lens while her sister's shadow is still standing just out of shot?
