In MIDICITY, music is everything. Cyan, a kitty girl in gothic lolita clothes, gets scouted by Maple Arisugawa, president of a music agency, and before she knows it she is standing in a rehearsal room with three strangers: Chuchu, the honor student rabbit, Retoree, the net geek dog girl, and Moa, an alien sheep. They call themselves Plasmagica. Their goal is the top of the world, one weird battle of the bands at a time. Then the city stops being just about catchy songs and stage lights. A queen of darkness decides MIDICITY should be wiped off the map, and the people who live for its music are not about to hand it over. They even call Cyan back to help. So now the band has to fight for the place they love, and the stakes are a lot higher than a bad review. Can a group of girls who just wanted to play keep the music alive, or is MIDICITY about to go silent for good?
