Cyan is just a girl with a guitar she barely has the guts to play in front of anyone. One night she boots up her favorite rhythm game and the screen swallows her whole. She wakes up in Midi City, a neon metropolis where music is literally power. Play a strong enough song and you can bend the whole place to your will. Then she meets Maple, a music agency president who takes her in. Soon she's sharing a stage with Chuchu the uptight rabbit, Retoree the dog girl, and Moa the sheep from overseas. They call themselves Plasmagica and they want the top spot. Problem is, Midi City has plenty of rival bands, and some of them are playing for the wrong side. A darker plan is already humming along, one that wants to drown every note in the city. So Cyan has to figure out what she's really made of, because there's something buried in her that nobody saw coming, maybe not even her. Can a girl who never believed in herself really stand up to a force that wants to kill the music?
