Goodbye Mr. Despair OAD

Goku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei · 獄・さよなら絶望先生
Comedy2008ShaftRating 7,817+HD

Nozomu Itoshiki teaches a class where every student is a different flavor of strange. One girl obsesses over a single thing until it swallows her whole, another refuses to leave her corner, and then there is the one who seems perfectly ordinary. She hates that word. Call her normal to her face and watch what happens. Itoshiki himself is worse off than any of them. He looks at a perfectly fine day and finds a reason to hang himself from the ceiling, only to be saved at the last second by a student who treats his despair like a daily chore. The jokes come at you sideways, one after another, parodying whatever they feel like that week. School life here is less a routine and more a contest of who can be the strangest. So when the man who sees nothing but hopelessness stands in front of a room full of people who refuse to be ordinary, who is really the one who needs saving?
